By Masie DeeMy horse has had a serious accident. He is an ex race horse and was run far to young and so has always struggled with leg problems, I have a feeling this has been a time bomb waiting to happen for years. His stifule joint is no lnger holding together meaning that his back leg joint is popping out, a bit like a dislocation. We dont know if its the jont itself or if he has ruptured a ligament. If it is a full rupture it doesnt look good but I wont know till he has a scan done tomorrow. Following the scan I will know what the plan is. We may just try pain killers mixed with anti inflamatries and box rest or they may sujest surjery or sedate him and try and work the leg into a different position. I have already been warned that he may never be fully sound and tjhis could be it for him being ridden. I dont mind about this as long as he is happy and not in any pain he always has a hone with me but I need money inorder to pay for the treatment as this ownt be cheap.
This is where you come in. I am planning on having an open tog day ayt a studio near manchester alhtough I may also do one doen south if i get enough interest. Did my first shoot yesterday, only a solo for the agency website, but it was a lot of fun. The location was sooooo stunning, a dream house with a cliff top garden overlooking the beach and sea. I felt like i was dreaming! Had my hair and make-up done nice, massive 60's style hair!
Today i'm a bit bored, but hoping to go shopping to Hollywood Boulevard later. Have got to get my certs done tomorrow, then it's off to Arizona on Tues for my first proper shoot out here. Wish me luck!!
